Suffolk vrs Norfolk. Mildenhall 13th May 2015
Norfolk O50 played away to Suffolk for their first game,at the very pretty Mildenhall ground. Norfolk won the toss and decided to bat on a pitch that was used but looked decent. Unfortunately, Norfolk were in trouble from the second over, losing two wickets to be 2-2. The Suffolk seamers bowled accurately and found movement, and were well supported by their spinners. Norfolk continued to lose wickets at regular intervals and despite attempts to fight back, were bowled out for a distinctly sub-par 83.
Suffolk did not hang about after an excellent tea, Wormington hitting 72 off 35 balls to bring about an early finish. We will have better days.
